about the Author
Tracy D. Smith is a talented historical fiction author with a strong background in education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, along with an elementary teaching license and a master’s degree in teaching from Western Governors University. Tracy is best known for her captivating works, including First Lady of Jamestown and Threads of Faith, as well as the engaging Time Travel series, The Timeless Adventures of Kiki and George. Her writing seamlessly blends meticulous historical research with character-driven storytelling, bringing to life the often-overlooked voices and moments from history.
In addition to her writing, Tracy hosts the podcast History’s Unsung Heroes, where she delves into lesser-known stories from the past. She resides in beautiful Utah with her husband, three children, and two very active dogs. Fluent in Thai, Tracy enjoys spending her free time playing volleyball, board games, and cards, as well as enjoying the outdoors at the beach or a lake with her family and friends, all while embracing the scenic mountain views that Utah has to offer.
